“Fitzmaurice teacher certification made me a better teacher to my students: more present, compassionate, and better able to hear and respond to their many different ways of being and performing. And that’s because Catherine’s work made me a better teacher to myself. In being with myself, I can be with my students.”
“The depth of my experience with Certification is vast and will continue to resonate within me for years to come. I was brought home in many ways—through the supportive community and family of my teachers and my fellow certs, through a renewed and newly discovered intimacy with my voice, and through a deep journey into the sea of my self.”

“The Fitzmaurice Voicework certification program is one of the most powerful choices I have ever made. It changed my relationship to my own learning, transformed my teaching practice, and revolutionized my relationship to my art. I became not only better in teaching the technical aspects of voice, but the program also gave me a resilient framework for teaching a challenging and nuanced topic. It changed my relationship to my role with clients and I have a greater understanding of my strengths as a teacher, and my ability to facilitate experiences for clients, empowering them to claim their voices, creativity, and presence. I also learned about how to refine and develop areas of my teaching practice that were blind spots for me - all in a supportive and playful environment lead by many, many remarkable teaching masters.”
